Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | No on-call requirement | No holiday requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate across a variety of surgical cases including cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal procedures
- Float between multiple hospital campuses and among services within the main OR as needed
- Provide Level I Trauma surgical nursing care in a high-acuity environment
- Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
- Maintain compliance with all facility and credentialing requirements, including PA Fingerprinting within one week of contract signing
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid RN state license required at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- Level I Trauma certification required
- Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
- Experience in cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases required
- Ability to scrub and circulate required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Level I course and certificate preferred
- Experience with orthopedic fracture cases is a plus
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
