Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse – Pennsylvania

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Schedule: Day shift, 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM; On-call requirement 1-2 days per week, one weekend per month, and holiday on-call when applicable
Highlights:
- Level I Trauma center specializing in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- Scrub and circulate for all types of CVOR cases including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, TEVAR, and ventricular assist devices
- Potential to float to general OR for additional case variety and cross-training opportunities
- Cerner (Surginet) electronic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
- Scrubs provided; work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Travel assignment with competitive compensation for qualified perioperative professionals
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience required
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated competency in both scrubbing and circulating roles for cardiovascular procedures
- Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), cell saver, and electrosurgical units
- Experience with Cerner charting system required
- Charge nurse experience strongly preferred
- Travel nursing experience required
- Valid professional references and certification documentation required
