Key Responsibilities
- Independently circulate in a high-volume OR environment averaging 80–120 cases per day across 33 operating suites
- Support a full range of surgical service lines including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Bariatric, and Surgical Oncology
- Respond to Level I Trauma Center poly-trauma cases on a 24/7 basis as part of call responsibilities
- Take standby call as required, with a 30-minute response time from time of call (20–30 hours of standby call per 4-week period)
- Work scheduled weekend shifts (12-hour blocks) as directed by unit management
- Float between two OR locations based on case volume and individual experience
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Ability to circulate independently in the OR
- Willingness and availability to take call as scheduled, including weekends
- Experience with EPIC OP-Time or comparable perioperative EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong ambulatory/outpatient surgical experience
- Familiarity with Xi Robotics (Surgical Oncology, Urology, or GYN cases)
- Experience with OR equipment including Bovie machines, Neptune suction, drill consoles, Ligasure, and Argon Beam
- Background in high-acuity or Level I Trauma Center environments
