Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30–15:00) | Call and late days as required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room across service lines including Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics/Trauma
- Perform and assist with Craniotomy and Burr Hole procedures — experience in these areas is required
- Float to alternate campus locations or acceptable units as operationally needed
- Complete orientation modules during scheduled orientation period
- Maintain accurate and timely patient charting throughout all phases of surgical care
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Operating Room service line
- Current certification verification required
- Must pass an onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — CBD products should also be avoided prior to arrival
- Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Must reside more than 150 miles from the facility to be eligible (local candidates are not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience with Altera charting system preferred but not required
