Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday block schedule with call and late days as required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Trauma, and General/Robotics/Trauma surgical specialties
- Perform and assist with craniotomy and burr hole procedures (required)
- Participate in call and late days as required per block schedule
- Complete orientation modules during scheduled orientation period
- Maintain accurate patient charting and documentation throughout the surgical episode of care
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in hand required at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Operating Room service line
- Craniotomy and burr hole experience required
- Must pass a facility-administered drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — CBD products should also be avoided prior to arrival
- Must live more than 150 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals not accepted)
- Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience with Altera charting system preferred
