Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule: 8-week scheduling periods with 2-3 weekends per schedule (either in-house or on call). Call requirements include 7-8 call shifts per 8-week period, consisting of 1 weekend call, 1-2 weekend shifts, and 2-3 weekday night call shifts. Call shifts are 12-hour blocks (7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m.). Daily census averages 35 patients across 16 operating rooms.

Highlights:

• Main OR experience across multiple specialties including General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics (2 DaVinci XI Robots), Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal
• Must have both circulating and scrubbing experience – this is a required qualification
• Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
• Demonstrated competency in both circulating and scrubbing roles (required)
• Experience with surgical specialties including General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal procedures
• Proficiency in procedures such as total joint replacements, robotic-assisted surgeries, spinal fusions, laparoscopic procedures, and various open surgical cases
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance documentation due by Tuesday prior to start date
