Description: The facility has a total of 67 beds. The operating room consists of 4 ORs and 1 procedure room. The average number of cases per day ranges from 15 to 22. Areas of surgery experience required include general, orthopedic fractures and scopes, plastics, gastrointestinal, urology, pediatric dental, and surgical oncology. No specific orthopedic experience is required. The traveler does not need to scrub or circulate. Call is required, totaling 2 weekdays per week and 1 weekend per month. The traveler will not be floating to other units. Required certifications for this position include BLS, ACLS, and PALS if performing pediatric cases. The facility uses an Omnicel medication system. The charting system utilized is Epic. There are no additional specific equipment, procedures, or skills required.
