Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health for an adult psychiatric unit in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role involves providing comprehensive, compassionate nursing care to adult patients experiencing a range of behavioral health conditions.
The position offers a consistent day shift schedule, working 12-hour shifts for three days per week. This 13-week contract assignment, starting October 5, 2026, provides an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient well-being within a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, for adult patients with behavioral health needs.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, monitoring for therapeutic effects and potential side effects.
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized patient care plans.

Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Successful completion of Department of Human Services (DHS) fingerprinting and background check.
- No history of previous disciplinary action from any licensing board or employer.
- Demonstrated experience or specialization in Behavioral/Psychiatric Nursing.
