This role is for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a combined Adult and Pediatric Medical-Surgical unit in Sweetwater, Texas. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including adults and children recovering from various medical conditions and surgical procedures, potentially including orthopedic cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients on a combined Medical-Surgical unit.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions.
  • Manage patient assignments with typical ratios of 1:4 to 1:6, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
