Opportunity:

RN - Oncology Nurse

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• Float as needed to other areas in 4-hour blocks, floating before staff RNs
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Care for medical surgical oncology and surgical oncology patient population, with a small population receiving chemotherapy treatments
• Patient ratio ranges from 5:1 on nights, with potential up to 7:1 (not common); techs always on night shift
• CNAs scheduled on all shifts with additional RN staffing when CNA is unavailable
• Utilize Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps
• Epic experience preferred; previous electronic charting experience required if no Epic experience
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Wisconsin RN license and BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; 1 year on a medical surgical oncology unit preferred; oncology experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any scrub color permitted
• Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
