Job Summary (List Format):

- Minimum Experience: 2 years required; 1st timers accepted
- Patient Population: Adults to geriatrics
- Certifications Required: BLS, OCN
- Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Care for oncology and hematology patients (from diagnosis to end-of-life care)
- Manage DNR/CC cases and oncologic emergencies
- Handle chemo precautions, morphine and dilaudid drips, CADD and PCA pumps
- Occasional off-service assignments
- Patient Ratio/Census: 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio; 19-bed unit, average census 15
- Unit Systems: Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR
- Uniform: Navy blue scrubs
- Time Off: Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
- Weekends: Work every other weekend required
- Floating: Required within the facility and possibly at a nearby campus (3 miles away)
- On-call Requirements: None
- Holiday Requirements:
- Work one major holiday if one falls during assignment
- Work both if two fall during assignment
- Work two if three fall during assignment
- Compliance: Full compliance required before start; non-compliance results in 2-week delay
- Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours based on contract length
- Locals: Accepted at same rate
- Offer Process: Offer contingent on clinical pass and meeting facility requirements; manager review within 48 hours of signed confirmation
