Job Details

  • Location: Wausau, WI
  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks, starting 10/26/2026
  • Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend and holiday
  • Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS, Chemotherapy certification
  • Minimum Experience: 2+ years, with 1 year on Medical Surgical Oncology unit preferred
  • Charting Experience: Epic preferred; otherwise, previous electronic charting experience required
  • Equipment Used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps
  • Unit Specific Skillset: Experience with surgical and medical oncology patients; patient ratio ranges from 4:1 to 7:1 during night shifts; always staffed with techs, C.N.As scheduled across shifts
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Education Requirements: Associate Degree or Certificate; Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Holiday Rotation: Every other holiday
  • Experience Requirement: 2+ years minimum clinical experience on an Oncology unit
