Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility.
Candidates must have a clean license with no prior suspensions.
Candidates must be willing to receive a flu vaccine unless a medical exemption is provided.
Description:
Infusion RN needed for a day shift position.
Orientation for new hires occurs every other Thursday.
Successful candidates will manage a daily caseload of approximately 70 patients.
The patient ratio experience is 1:4.
Required skills include accessing and managing ports, administration of blood products, and administration of chemotherapy.
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient oncology is preferred.
Experience with imaging and various treatment modalities is essential.
Candidates should have familiarity with the Cerner documentation system.
References from two managers or charge nurses from the last two years are required.
Candidates who were permanent staff must wait to return as travelers for three years.
Probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Flu vaccine mandated unless medical documentation is provided.
