Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the health and safety of employees in various settings by providing expert nursing care in occupational health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer immunizations and vaccinations.
  • Conduct fit testing and drug testing.
  • Perform phlebotomy and manage chain of custody procedures.
  • Provide health screenings and assessments for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
  • At least 1 previous travel assignment experience is essential.
  • Strong immunization skills preferred.
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) is a plus.
  • Experience with drug screening and oral swab tests is beneficial.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Schedule

This position is scheduled for Monday through Friday, from 07:30 to 16:00, with a requirement to work one weekend shift on November 22nd.

Special Procedures

The role may involve performing special procedures such as:

  • Fit testing
  • Urine Drug Screens (UDS)
  • Flu vaccines
  • Oral swabs
