Key Responsibilities of the RN - Obstetrics

• Deliver high-quality care to obstetric patients in a delivery room setting
• Provide support and monitoring for fetal health
• Float to MedSurg if needed, based on census fluctuations
• Adapt to diverse healthcare settings using the Cerner EMR system

Requirements of the RN - Obstetrics

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
• Delivery room experience (e.g., receiving babies)
• MedSurg experience
