Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery team. This position requires a dedicated nursing professional with expertise in Level II nursery care and delivery room experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care in the Special Care Nursery.
  • Assist in delivery room procedures and neonatal care.
  • Float to the postpartum unit for baby care assignments as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for infants and their families.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Special Care Nursery or Level II nursery setting.
  • Completion of at least 1 previous travel nursing assignment.
  • Certifications required: BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
  • Experience in charge nursing and precepting new staff.
  • Delivery room experience is essential.

Schedule

This role involves a night shift schedule, consisting of 4x12-hour shifts. Every other weekend is required. Scrubs will be provided for your convenience.

Additional Information

The position is located within a Special Care Nursery and may involve floating to other areas as necessary. Dedicated teamwork and excellent communication skills are critical for success in this role.
