Job Details

  • Position Description: NICU RN for a 6-week assignment starting November 9, 2026, with shifts scheduled nights, 12 hours each, totaling 48 hours per week. No requested time off or special scheduling required.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), minimum 1 year of relevant neonatal intensive care experience, and experience with preemies (at least 28 weeks and above), management of central lines, and respiratory management including intubated patients.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The NICU staffing includes registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, patient care technicians, and nurse externs. Equipment used includes nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, vents, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, isolettes, documentation systems such as CPN and Meditech.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical, cardiac, and trach patients; care of infants up to 2 years; procedures such as central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laps, gastroschisis reductions, PDA ligations.
