This position involves providing specialized patient care within a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, supporting critically ill neonates and their families. The role requires working night shifts, with a focus on delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, from 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 2 years of Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with EPIC computer charting system and Pyxis medication administration.
  • Additional Information: The clinician may float to pediatric or Pediatric Intensive Care Units (Peds/PICU) as needed. Orientation will occur Monday through Friday during the first two weeks, with mandatory attendance for all seven days of orientation. The unit has 31 beds with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2. The setting is acute care with trauma level certification.
