• Floating: May float between units and nearby sister facilities as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at submission if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level III or higher NICU experience strongly preferred
• BLS and NRP Advanced certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Comfort caring for neonates with complex conditions such as prematurity, respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, sepsis, and HIE
• Ability to work 3 of the 5 major holidays during the contract period
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal assessment, monitoring, and specialized interventions

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to critically ill and high-risk neonates in the NICU
• Monitor and manage infants requiring ventilator support, CPAP, oxygen delivery systems, and invasive lines
• Administer medications, blood products, and treatments according to neonatal protocols
• Support feeding, growth, thermoregulation, and family education throughout the care experience
• Perform and assist with advanced neonatal procedures and ongoing assessments
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Float as needed to support related pediatric areas within scope and facility needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards in a high-acuity environment
