- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Compact RN license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience required
- Level III NICU experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Current BLS and NRP Advanced certifications required
- Ability to work in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment
- Provide 2 professional references covering 1 year of recent experience
- Willingness to float to PRN Pediatrics, PICU, and Pediatric ED as needed
- Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays during the contract period
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to neonates in a Level IV NICU
- Monitor and manage critically ill infants with conditions such as prematurity, respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, sepsis, and HIE
- Administer medications, blood products, IV therapies, and advanced respiratory support as indicated
- Perform and assist with specialized neonatal procedures, including line care, chest tube management, ventilator support, and thermoregulation
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, evidence-based patient care
- Document accurately in Epic EMR and maintain strong attention to detail in charting and care coordination
- Educate and support families while promoting developmental and family-centered neonatal care
- Maintain flexibility to float between related pediatric units when needed
