Job Details:
Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse
Location: Greenville, SC
Setting: Hospital
Pay Range: 1947.04 - 2044.39
Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30 (Night)
Contract Length: 13 weeks.
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: BLS, NRP, STABLE and SC license
Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized NICU nursing care for babies 22 weeks gestation and greater, including those with complex diagnoses such as abdominal wall defects, HIE, RDS/RFS, and sepsis.
  • Manage special procedures including full body cooling, chest tubes, surgical repairs, tracheostomy management, Avastin administration, and laser eye surgeries.
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as Artic Sun Blanketroll, jet ventilators, HFOV, Draeger ventilators, HFNC, Bubble CPAP, and infusion pumps.
  • Document patient care and procedures accurately using EPIC system, ensuring at least 1 year of experience with EPIC.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members, float to other NICU units or facilities as needed, including weekend coverage and call shifts.
