Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Rochester, NY. This position involves providing specialized care for neonates in a Level 2 NICU environment. The role requires a NY license prior to submission and involves working night shifts, with the possibility of floating to postpartum units for baby care. The assignment is scheduled to start on September 1, 2026, for a duration of 13 weeks with potential for extension.

Job Details

• Location: Rochester, NY
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: NY license in hand, minimum of 2 years of neonatal intensive care or related experience, experience with EPIC charting system, certification in BLS and NRPs, ability to manage neonatal procedures including respiratory support, intravenous medications, and baby catch in OR for C-section cases
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Level 2 NICU units, familiarity with high-risk deliveries and neonatal stabilization procedures
• Float: Float rotation may be required to postpartum units for baby care as needed
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to work nights, have no more than 10 days of RTO, and be outside a 75-mile radius of the facility. Candidates will be expected to complete billable modules prior to start, up to 5 hours of module time, with additional mandatory orientation hours of 24. Experience with EPIC is essential, and any foreign education verification should be communicated at the time of submittal.
