Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position located in Rochester, New York. This role involves providing specialized care to neonates in a Level 2 NICU setting, with responsibilities including advanced respiratory management, neonatal assessments, and supporting high-risk deliveries. The position requires flexibility with rotating shifts and floating to postpartum units as needed to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Details

  • Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts from 0700-1900 and 1900-0700, with weekends included on a rotating schedule
  • Schedule: Shift Hours: 12; Minimum Hours Per Week: 36
  • Required Qualifications: Valid New York State RN license prior to submission, 2 years of NICU experience, BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications, EPIC charting experience, ability to float to postpartum units, and experience managing ventilator support and neonatal procedures
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-risk delivery support and neonatal placements, familiarity with NICU-specific equipment and protocols
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be able to baby catch in operating rooms for C-section cases. The position starts on 09/01/2026 and involves 24 hours of orientation. Candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted, and candidates must have an in-hand NY license prior to submitting. Candidate float requirements include postpartum units as needed. Module billing for up to 5 hours is permitted, with total module hours reaching 10 hours.
  • Submittal Requirements: NY license must be in hand; candidates with more than 10 days of RTO or RTO jobs in the system are ineligible; foreign education verification may be required if applicable.
