Job Summary:
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for providing care to a designated group of patients. Utilizing the nursing process, trends, technology, and resources, the RN ensures patient safety and delivers high-quality care within the institution's philosophy.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Illinois state RN License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Additional Information:
 

• Competent care for patients with mild to severe brain injuries due to stroke, trauma, or surgery
• Ability to identify and respond immediately to neurological changes and/or seizure activity
• Maintains patient safety through compliance with safety measures such as fall precautions, pressure ulcer prevention, isolation precautions, and patient ambulation safety
• Effective communication within the healthcare team to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and patient care coordination
