ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires flexibility with 8/12 hour shifts, including day and night rotations from 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with every other weekend and some holiday shifts required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for ICU and Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) patient populations.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including critical patients from neurosurgery.
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA ONLY).
• Minimum of one year of ICU experience is required.
• Preferred neuroscience or neurosurgery experience.
• Must be willing to work with a diverse patient population.
• Traveler candidates will be required to pass a telemetry test before the start date.

Schedule Options

• Available schedules include options for 4x12 hour shifts or a Friday to Sunday block schedule.
• Additional schedule flexibility may be offered based on unit needs.
