TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro ICU RN in York, Pennsylvania, 17403!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Neuro ICU License: Active RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, ENLS Must-Have: Neuroscience ICU background; strong experience in EVD, ICP, angiogram post care, CRRT, carotid, and embolization. Description: Must have Neuroscience ICU background. Strong experience in EVD and ICP management is required. Experience with angiogram post care, CRRT, carotid stenting, and embolization is essential. Travelers will be expected to work two of three major holidays. If the contract overlaps only two holidays, travelers will be expected to work one holiday. Requests for more than one holiday off will not be accepted. Nights shift consists of three 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. Weekends and holidays may be required, along with one hardship shift depending on the assignment timeframe. Candidates will undergo clinical screening and interviews to determine fit. Minimum experience required is two years in Neuro ICU. Pre-screening will be conducted on a case-by-case basis. Travelers must meet certification requirements including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and ENLS. RTO must be minimized to a maximum of seven days. Travelers may be required to float to other units if needed. The unit provides care to critically ill stroke patients and non-traumatic neurosurgical cases. Post-operative care includes ICP monitoring, CRRT, and ventilator management. Equipment proficiency includes CRRT, EVD, and other critical care systems. Facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Travelers may care for COVID patients.
