Clinical technicians are available on the unit. Two clinical technicians are assigned for 16 patients. Mechanical ventilators and high-flow nasal cannulas are part of the equipment utilized. Non-invasive ventilation options include BiPAP and CPAP. RNs are required to monitor their own telemetry readings. Telemetry monitors from Phillips are used. Staff are expected to work every other weekend. Holiday requirements include one major and one minor holiday per year. There are floating expectations to various units and taking care of boarders. Epic access is required for all staff. Scrubs are navy blue.
