    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – NICU (12-Hour Nights)

    Location

    Tacoma, WA | Level IV NICU

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (0700–1930 or 1900–0730) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients ranging from 22 weeks gestation through higher acuity levels, including prematurity, RDS, NAS, high-risk deliveries, and feeders/growers
    • Manage respiratory support including mechanical ventilators (required), NCPAP, and tracheostomies
    • Perform and manage UAC/UVC lines, PICC lines, G-tubes, and NG/OG tubes
    • Administer medications, develop and maintain care plans, and coordinate discharge-to-home planning
    • Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
    • Float to MedSurg or PICU for patients age 1 and under, or serve in a Helping Hands capacity as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of Level III–IV NICU experience
    • Active Washington State RN License
    • BLS Certification (required)
    • NRP Certification (required)
    • Proficiency with respiratory support for mechanically ventilated patients
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
    • Experience with tracheostomy management
    • Experience with surgical NICU patients and/or HIE (Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy)
    • Familiarity with EPIC EMR
