Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III/IV NICU setting within a children's hospital environment
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:2–4 depending on acuity and unit needs
• Participate in a self-scheduling model, including expected weekend shifts (6 weekend shifts per 6-week period)
• Float between units as needed based on staffing and patient census requirements
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required modules prior to start and during orientation; module time is non-billable and factored into onboarding hours

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required
• Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling preferences upfront at the time of submission; post-offer requests may not be granted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (charge RNs and leads accepted)
• Background check required; facility does not accept Nursys or background hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level III NICU experience strongly preferred, as the unit operates at a Level IV designation
• Experience working in a high-acuity pediatric or neonatal environment
• Flexibility and willingness to consider extended contract lengths beyond the standard 13-week assignment
