    Job Title

    Travel RN – NICU (Level IV)

    Location

    Denver, CO | Acute Care – Neonatal ICU (Level IV)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 42-bed Level IV NICU at a 2:1 or 1:1 patient ratio depending on acuity
    • Operate and monitor advanced equipment including incubators, radiant warmers, high-frequency oscillating ventilators, jet ventilators, servo ventilators, and Arctic Sun cooling systems
    • Manage central lines, PIVs, Foley catheters, chest tubes, high-flow nasal cannula, NIPPV, and tracheostomy care
    • Administer titrated, continuous, and intermittent IV/PO medications with precision in a high-acuity neonatal environment
    • Perform and assist with procedures including intubation, central line placement, PIV insertion, therapeutic hypothermia, lab draws, sepsis screening, and gastric tube placement
    • Document patient care using Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech EMR systems
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 1 year of current, acute care Level IV NICU experience (required; candidates without this will not be considered)
    • Active RN license valid for practice in Colorado
    • BLS certification (required)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (required)
    • PALS certification (required)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • PICU experience for potential float coverage
    • Post-surgical neonatal care experience
    • High degree of professionalism with the ability to maintain emotional regulation in a high-acuity environment
