    Travel RN – NICU (Level IV)

    Denver, CO | Acute Care – Neonatal ICU (Level IV)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 42-bed Level IV NICU at a 2:1 or 1:1 patient ratio in a high-acuity neonatal environment
    • Operate and monitor advanced equipment including incubators, radiant warmers, High Frequency Oscillating Ventilation, Jet Ventilation, Servo ventilation, NIPPV, and Arctic Sun
    • Manage central lines, PIVs, Foley catheters, chest tubes, tracheostomies, and high-flow nasal cannula
    • Administer titrated, continuous, and intermittent IV/PO medications and perform lab draws and sepsis screening
    • Participate in daily rounds supporting evidence-based practice and complex neonatal care pathways
    • Document accurately using Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech EMR systems
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 1 year of current acute care Level IV NICU experience required
    • BLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Active and unrestricted RN license
    • Ability to perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, PIV insertion, therapeutic hypothermia, and gastric tube placement
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • PICU experience for floating purposes
    • Post-surgical neonatal care experience
    • High degree of professionalism with the ability to maintain emotional regulation in a high-acuity environment
    • Proactive, accountable, and reliable clinical practice style
