Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Varies)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, implementing appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Adhere to facility holiday scheduling requirements, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity NICU environment
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills specific to neonatal populations
