Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday); Holiday rotation required (work or on-call for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)

  • Level IV NICU with 37 beds including a Special Care Nursery providing advanced neonatal care
  • Patient ratios: 1:2 in NICU, 1:3-4 in Special Care Nursery
  • EPIC charting system; comprehensive orientation and training provided
  • Care for neonates requiring high-frequency ventilation, ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, and complex interventions
  • Part of New Jersey's largest integrated healthcare system with robust interdisciplinary support
  • Floating within skillset to Newborn, Pediatrics, and PICU as needed

Requirements:

  • Active New Jersey or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
  • Current certifications: BLS and NRP required; PALS preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Level III or Level IV NICU experience
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • At least one supervisory reference required at time of submission
  • Proficiency in developmental care, respiratory support (including vent management, bubble CPAP, HFNC, Vapotherm), line management (IV, central, A-line, UAC/UVC), neonatal medications, and GI/nutrition support
  • Preferred skills include charge experience and exposure to jet vents, oscillators, ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, and transport recipients
  • First-time travelers and local candidates accepted
