Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Saturday and Sunday). Holiday coverage required (1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit needs). Ratios: 1:2 NICU; 1:3-4 Special Care Nursery.

- Floating required within skillset to Newborn, Pediatrics, and PICU for appropriate assignments

Requirements:
- Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- BLS and NRP certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of current Level III NICU experience (Level IV experience a plus)
- EPIC charting experience required
- Proficiency in developmental care, patient/family teaching, phlebotomy, thermoregulation, blood glucose monitoring, phototherapy, isolation precautions, and sepsis workup
- Experience with lines and blood administration: A-line management, central/implanted line care, IV starts/maintenance, UAC/UVC, administration of blood and blood products
- Medication administration skills: anti-seizure medications, antibiotics/antivirals, IV vasopressors, neonatal dose calculations, steroids, surfactants, and insulin
- GI/Nutrition competencies: breastfeeding support, breast milk handling, bottle/breast/gavage feedings, NEC management, oral/NG/NJ tube placement
- Respiratory expertise: Bubble CPAP, HFNC, chest tubes, meconium aspiration, oxygen delivery systems, RDS, ETT/NT suctioning, Vapotherm, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP)
- Preferred skills include charge experience, jet vents, oscillators, ECMO, CritiCool body cooling, and neonatal transport experience
