Schedule: Self-scheduling with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling block; 48-hour shifts approved; floating between units as needed

- Patient ratios of 1:2-4 with a daily census averaging 35 patients across 43 beds

- Care for diverse neonatal patient populations including prematurity, respiratory distress, surgical subspecialties (except cardiac), and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy
Requirements:
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
- Level III NICU experience strongly preferred for this Level IV unit
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Epic charting experience required
- Patient ratio experience of 2:4 required
- Proficiency in advanced neonatal skills including ventilator management, high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide administration, therapeutic hypothermia, umbilical line management, and care of surgical neonates
- Experience with neonatal conditions including respiratory distress syndrome, NAS, NEC, sepsis, and hyperbilirubinemia
- Ability to work 3 of 5 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
