Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Safe medication administration including calculation of medications
Administer medications and EMB using the 5 patient rights
Appropriate handling of EMB
Care of patients with NG/OG tubes
Follow feeding orders and recommendations from OT/ST
Care of patients of CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Nasal Cannula
Care for patients with PIV s, PICC s, UAC/UVC
Safely care for patients 22 weeks and above
Understands use of all equipment in the NICU
Promotes safe sleeping at 32-34 gestation
Can demonstrate developmentally appropriate care when handling preterm infant
Proficient in lab draws
Knowledgeable in escalating patient concerns
NAS scoring
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Experience with ETT, Vent s Jet s, Cooling, Surgical patients

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS
NRP
Registered Nurse License
Floating Area(s):
Mother Baby (will only manage babies)

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
Weekends and On call(if any)
Days: 4 weekends Saturday/Sunday
Nights: 5 weekends Friday/Saturday/Sunday
