Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in LDRP License: Must have state nursing license prior to submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with a patient ratio in a labor and delivery setting - Proficiency in charting systems Description: There are two nursing positions available. One position is to start as soon as possible, and the other will start by mid-October. Candidates must confirm their preferred start date before applying. The roles require a minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP. Local travelers within a certain distance may have specific billing considerations. All candidates must have a valid state nursing license in hand prior to submission. Requests for time off must be included in the initial application. Any requests submitted after the application will not be approved. Charge experience and familiarity with patient ratios in obstetrical care are essential. Experience with charting systems is preferred. Candidates should be prepared for assessments related to telemetry based on the facility’s standards. Key skills include managing high-risk antepartum patients, performing vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and providing breastfeeding support. The role entails effective discharge teaching to parents, newborn assessments, and interventions for abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring telemetry patients and interpreting cardiac rhythms. Candidates must possess the ability to maintain central lines and provide care for postpartum patients. The nursing role contributes to an essential service provided to families during a critical time. Weekly and weekend coverage may be a requirement based on scheduling needs.
