Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Mother Baby Unit) – Asheville, North Carolina

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend shifts required; no on-call shifts. Typical unit ratios are 1:3-4 couplets (mother-baby pairs). Day and night shift opportunities available.

Highlights:

• Join a 34-bed private couplet Mother Baby Unit at a Magnet-designated facility recognized among the top 1% of hospitals in the nation
• Work within a collaborative team environment with 78 nursing staff members, including dedicated charge nurses and support staff
• Utilize Cerner EMR, Alaris pumps, and advanced neonatal care equipment in a modern postpartum care setting
• Perform and assist with standard procedures including circumcisions and care of patients receiving Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery
• Opportunity to float as helping hands to Labor & Delivery and NICU, expanding your perinatal nursing skill set
• Professional attire provided with standardized scrub colors (Navy Blue/White)

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state licensure eligible for North Carolina
• Mother Baby nursing experience required
• Current BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required
• Experience caring for patients on Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery preferred
• STABLE certification preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
