    Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide pre- and post-surgical care to adult and geriatric patients in a 40-bed inpatient Post Surgical Care Unit following PACU recovery
    • Manage a patient assignment of 4–5 patients per shift in a fast-paced environment averaging 10–15 admissions per day
    • Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation and medication scanning via Rovers
    • Operate Alaris pumps and other unit-specific equipment as required
    • Float to all inpatient units as needed
    • Comply with all facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccination is declined
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin RN License required
    • BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
    • Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience with recent hospital experience
    • Trauma Level II experience required
    • Prior travel nursing experience required
    • Epic EMR proficiency required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in post-surgical or PACU step-down care settings
    • Familiarity with Alaris infusion pumps and medication scanning workflows
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize care based on patient acuity in high-occupancy environments (90–95% unit occupancy)
