    Contract | 10 Weeks | 36 Hours Per Week Guaranteed | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (7a–7p / 7p–7a) | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide pre- and post-surgical care to adult and geriatric patients in a 40-bed inpatient Post Surgical Care Unit following PACU recovery
    • Manage a patient assignment of 4–7 patients depending on shift, in a fast-paced unit averaging 10–15 admissions per day
    • Accurately document patient care and administer medications using Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps
    • Float to all inpatient units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
    • Prioritize and multitask patient care needs based on acuity, collaborating effectively as part of a care team
    • Adhere to all facility health and safety policies, including infection control requirements during flu season
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin RN License
    • BLS certification through AHA or ARC
    • Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience with recent hospital experience
    • Trauma Level II experience required
    • Prior travel nursing experience required
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a high-volume post-surgical or PACU step-down environment
    • Familiarity with Alaris infusion pumps and barcode medication administration workflows
    • Experience caring for geriatric and joint replacement patient populations
