Contract | Days | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team in the provision and management of patient care
• Provide direct nursing care to general medical patients with expected ratios of 1:4–5 during day shifts
• Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Expected to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active Iowa RN license or compact nursing license (must reflect Active status)
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
• Valid Driver's License required
• Skills Checklist specific to the discipline must be completed and submitted
• 1 Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Heparin drip experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
