Responsibilities are carried out independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies. The Office Nurse utilizes the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. The role includes teaching and directing other clinical support staff in the performance of acts delegated to them for implementing the therapeutic plan of care.
