    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Two weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule | Projected Start: May 25, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver attentive and compassionate care to patients on a 20-bed Neuro Med/Surg unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
    • Prioritize and manage care for medical-surgical and neurological patient populations, including multitasking across multiple acuity levels
    • Perform IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
    • Operate and monitor unit equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse ox machines, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanners, and SCDs
    • Document accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Conduct bedside shift reports and actively engage patients and family members in the plan of care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience
    • Current BLS certification
    • Ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Willingness to float per unit policy; contract/travel staff are first to float by rotation
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working on a Neuro Med/Surg unit or with neurological patient populations
    • Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record documentation
    • Experience working in a facility with Stroke, Trauma, or Chest Pain center designations
