Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5
- Float between units as needed, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
- Work weekends as required — expected 6 shifts per 6-week period
- Commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Complete required onboarding modules prior to start and during orientation
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license — Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard travel candidate (locals may be considered under separate terms)
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
- Background must be clear — facility does not accept background hits
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a short-term acute care or high-acuity hospital setting
- Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center workflows and protocols
- Flexibility to work 48-hour weeks when operationally needed
