Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Deliver nursing care across a 40-bed unit in alignment with facility protocols and standards
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the MEDHOST EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit-specific guidelines including no call, no floating, and no mandatory 48-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Medical Surgical experience required
- Immunization titers must be available at time of submission
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with MEDHOST or similar EMR platforms
