Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility standards and protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient information and care activities using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to start date
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a travel nursing capacity
- Familiarity with acute care hospital environments
- Ability to adapt quickly to new unit workflows and team dynamics
