Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit during day shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Document patient information and clinical findings accurately using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, applying appropriate clinical interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for the state of Alabama
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- ACLS certification required prior to start date (submissions may be considered with ACLS pending)
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with acute care environments and high patient acuity
- Ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and protocols
