Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite | Projected Start: 10/26/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in an acute care setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient information and care accurately using electronic medical record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• May be expected to support scheduling needs of up to 48 hours per week based on unit demand

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Alabama
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to start date (submissions pending ACLS may be considered)
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
• Familiarity with travel nursing workflows and rapid onboarding processes
