Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical / Telemetry – Alabama

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, Days (0700-1930). Block scheduling may be accommodated. Patient ratio 1:6-7. Daily census of 42 beds.

- Orthopedic unit with medical-surgical and telemetry overflow requiring cardiac drip proficiency
- Must be proficient in titrating cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone

- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- Pre-start modules required (non-billable)
Requirements:
- Active Alabama RN license required at time of submission (pending license acceptable)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
- Preferred certification: ACLS
- Proficiency in interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
- Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone)
- Experience working in large healthcare facilities
- Must reside at least 90 miles from facility location
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- Navy blue scrubs required
