Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient information and clinical findings using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to start date (submissions with pending ACLS may be considered)
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced acute care or hospital setting
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to float to other units as needed
